Making Useless to Useful

This house we attended had been left with a useless 1.5m wide tarmac strip at the rear and a 2 foot drop in to a sloped lawn. All the existing steps were 9 or 10 inches which were just not practical at all.

The clients needed a space to fit in with those amazing views!

We extended the rear patio area by an extra 2 metres. We built new comfortable steps and added extra steps and a path down to a new patio area. The clients preferred a low maintenance garden so we finished off by gravelling the rest of the area and adding in plantation that can be easily kept.

The clients now have a beautiful space to relax in with those beautiful views.
