11 Days Later

Finbar

Sometimes the best jobs take a while and this was certainly one of them. It took 11 days to completely transform this garden.

The photos above highlight the stage we reached on day three of the job. 70 tonnes were dug out from this elevated rear garden, 20 tonnes of hardcore was brought in, ready for the retaining wall and flagging. No job too challenging for us.

Day 5 we were much further on. Sleeper retaining wall built, with high level shelves for pots and cantilevered supports left for a seated area to be added after flagging.

Finally finished! 11 days on and 80 tonnes removed and loads of materials brought up a very steep driveway. Great to see this one transformed from an unusable overgrown wilderness to a nice large sandstone patio with feature sleeper retaining wall.
